The fairytale story of Jiří Lízler
My photographic journey began with fascination. I was looking at the top photos of the world's aces and wondering how anyone managed to take a picture like that. I was driven by a desire to push my own limits. Gradually I found an area that I am passionate about — architectural photography with an emphasis on hospitality.
In the beginning, it was not as simple as it might seem today. And in fact, it didn't get any easier, and it won't happen. I spent many years on the merry-go-round of finding the right information, trying and repeatedly searching and trying.

There was no simple recipe that would give a person instant success. It needed determination and endless effort. But then came a turning point -- a chance to show what was in me. This opportunity led me to photograph projects for five-star hotels both in the Czech Republic and abroad, including names like St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton, Six Senses or Hyatt.
You often ask me questions about getting contracts abroad, which is why we also dealt with this issue in the form of a podcast. Simply put — success requires constant work, finding your own mistakes, identifying the right contacts and unwavering faith even in times of failure.
